    Title: The Seed

    Main Text: Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)

    “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

    I. The First Prophecy: The War Was Declared in Eden

Genesis 3:15 is often referred to as the Protoevangelium—the first gospel announcement.

It was spoken not to Adam or Eve, but directly to the serpent after the fall. And in that moment, God didn’t just curse the serpent; He declared war.

This verse reveals two lineages, two agendas, and two spiritual legacies:

    • The seed of the woman

    • The seed of the serpent

This battle isn’t just about good vs evil—it’s about spiritual reproduction and identity.

II. Understanding the Seed of the Woman

The term “seed” in Scripture typically refers to offspring, descendants, or lineage.

    But here’s what’s remarkable:

God doesn’t say “the seed of the man” but “her Seed.” This is prophetic.

This pointed to a child who would come from the woman alone, without the seed of a man.

    References:

    Isaiah 7:14 ; Luke 1:35

The Seed of the woman is Christ born of a virgin, untouched by sin, and born to defeat the works of the devil.

    1 John 3:8

But here’s the powerful part: When we are in Christ, we become part of that Seed.

Galatians 3:29 “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

III. The Seed of the Serpent

    The serpent also has seed.

This doesn’t refer to literal offspring, but to those who carry his nature, his agenda, and his spirit.

John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do…”

Anyone who walks in rebellion, deception, hatred of truth, and alignment with darkness is part of this seedline.

1 John 3:10 “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest…”

Like God, the devil is also planting corrupting, counterfeiting, and influencing hearts to carry his nature.

    Matthew 13:38–39

    V. The Battle Today: Why the Enemy Hates Your Seed

Every time God releases a seed, the enemy tries to:

Corrupt it (with sin or compromise)

Abort it (through discouragement or fear)

    Distract it (with counterfeit purpose)

    Delay it (with spiritual resistance)

He fears the seed because it carries future dominion.

He bruises the heel, but the Seed crushes his head.

The serpent attacks what you’re carrying because he knows your seed is a threat.

VI. Guarding and Growing the Seed

    Luke 8:11-12

There is a seed war going on in your mind, heart, and life:

    • Every Word God gives you is a seed.

    • Every vision, calling, and assignment starts as a seed.

    But you must protect it.

    Matthew 13:23

You are the ground. What you allow to take root will bear fruit: good or evil.

    VII. Prophetic Insight

    Revelation 12:17

This is Genesis 3:15 continuing in the end times.

The enemy is still targeting those who carry the seed of Christ, especially those who:

    • Keep His commands

    • Live with bold testimony

    • Are pregnant with kingdom purpose

    VIII. Final Charge

    You are not random.

You are royal seed, born of promise, and planted with divine purpose.

    Isaiah 61:3

    Now is the time to:

    Discern the war

    Protect the seed

    Walk in alignment

    Crush the serpent’s head

The victory was secured at the cross, but the battle still rages on the earth.

Don’t just carry the seed. Let it grow, multiply, and take dominion.
